This sounds like an amazing day (and looks like it too)! My dream day would be far away, on a beach I'm guessing! Or one of those little private houses over the water that I'll never be able to afford :) I have heard such great things about Midnight in Paris I need to rent that soon!

A beach would be perfection too right about now! And Mel, I would say the butchery class is definitely money well spent. You fillet a fish, breakdown a chicken, and stuff a tenderloin. You eat the fish and chicken in class (and trust me, by that point I'd worked up an appetite), and you take the tenderloin home uncooked for dinner that week. So two meals out of it plus some great cooking knowledge to have in your arsenal!

I've always thought about the butcher class! So worth it? I think the last time I took a true "skills" class was knife skills years ago. I think we just found a good idea for another meet-up. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but cooking class! Let's do it!

Love this play by play. The hubs has been dying to take a meat hacking class like you described. I imagine it would be somewhat liberating. How very cool and Midnight in Paris is on my list for the weekend. Heard too much good stuff not to see it.
